Holybred Wood is an area of 21 acres of ancient woodland in the village of Little Baddow. It comprises mostly hornbeam coppice, oak, sweet chestnut, birch and holly with an under-storey containing bluebell and wood anemone. The wood is a haven for many types of wildlife including badgers.

This is a lovely walk when the days are warmer. It has a small car park with a poo bin in. I am a wheelchair user and managed some paths with help. However, some paths, on the outer perimeter where there was a group of tree roots on the surface were not possible and we had to turn back.
