Langdon Hills Country Park is a lovely walk for all the family to enjoy. The car park is free and quite large, so unless there's an event on there's always enough parking. There's a gravel/concrete path that runs in a circuit around the park which is great for those with prams or wheelchair users. It is a hilly park, hence the name, but parts are flat. There are wide open green spaces for dogs to run about in and two separate fields with bits of woodland to explore too. There are also picnic benches and a wonderful play area for kids, plus a living willow dome. Horses are kept in a field that runs alongside the path at one point and although there is wire fence and bushes, determined dogs may get through if they're so inclined! The park is beautiful year round and you won't get muddy in winter if you stick to the path. There's usually an ice cream truck in the car park and there are also toilets, but the harvester restaurant/pub is right next to the park so you could stop there for a proper meal or drinks too. Dogs are welcome on leads in the pub garden and they put out buckets of water for them in the summer. All in all it's a greats little walk.

This is a lovely area and our dog had a great time walking around the park. It was very popular with other dog walkers and all were friendly. The free car park is not very big however so I imagine it would be difficult parking in summer months -

We visit here frequently all year round and I'm pleased to say we have never had trouble parking. It's busier in summer but still no problem. There's a Harvester restaurant on the way in to the park that has ample parking too if you ever get stuck. -

I don't suppose the Harvester on the way in is dog friendly too? That would be amazing! -

We've never tried taking our dogs inside but we always take them in the garden when it's warm enough! -

Wonderful place to take the dogs without needing to go out for the whole day. Often meet other dog walkers there. Birds, butterflies, dogs, squirrels and rabbits. Both my dogs and I enjoy spending a couple of hours here in a Sunday afternoon. Van selling refreshments, toilets on site and a pub within walking distances. -
