Firestone Copse is a lovely flat wooded walk with many different paths you can walk within the copse. There is lots of free car parking and you can walk as little or as far as you wish by following one of the many paths from the car park! There are several dog waste bins scattered around and a large picnic area.
For dogs that like a swim there is a lovely stretch or river just 2 minutes from the car park where they can bathe and cool down in the stream.

We are off too the Isle Wight tomorrow and needs walks where there are no livestock (spaniel who wants to play with the "big dogs") - any suggestions please? -

Expected this to be very busy for a Sunday but although carpark was full we hardly passed anyone. Seemed lots of paths to take. Dogs loved it... Although they found the only smelly muddy pool of water in the whole forest
