as this a forestry comminsion site there is a £4 carpark charge but that is for all day parking. the walk starts just behind the go Ape climb hut on the blue and red trail. the first of this walk is down hill and is hard compacted gravel so wheelchair friendly ( return path will be the same so up hill). please be aware at the bottom of hill there very muddy pools, the walk is approx 2 miles following the red and blue routes and now is flat taking in several pools this path will have walkers, cyclists and horse riders. the pools are fished so please be aware of this the walk takes in forest areas
