Beautiful victorian park in the center of the jesmond area of Newcastle. Part of the ouseburn parks area this park is a shining example of victorian splendor and the creation of William Armstrong the master industrialist. There are numerous paths and levels for all abilities with waterfalls and historic buildings with excellent signage and almost all accessible to wheelchairs or scooters. Coffee shop and gifts with a petting zoo area are all available with free unrestricted parking everyday. Also surrounded by 3 other park areas of equal beauty with facilities of their own. Fantastic all year round

This is a beautiful park, there’s enough flat ground as well as mild climbs, it beautifully manicured while keeping a natural look and you’re never far from the relaxing sound of the streams that flow through it
