A flat, wooded reservoir walk, quiet and peaceful in the winter months and fairly busy on a hot day. This walk has seen various improvements recently including new paths and better drainage but it is a work in progress! There are sheep in surrounding fields but no e on route itself. I keep my dog on the lead until I get through the gate at the end of the dam. There is a car park on the main road near a bus stop

Fabulous walk, but crossing the dam might be challenging if your human doesn’t like heights! -

Loved this walk! Going to make it one of my regulars I think, I’m disabled to the fact it was flat the whole way round (minus getting onto and off the pavement at one end) was a huge plus for me, means I can go in my wheelchair if I’m having a particularly bad day, there were some shaded spots under trees on the way round so if it was a warmer day then the dogs wouldn’t be in direct sunlight the whole time and obviously access to water at the edge of the reservoir. 10/10 would recommend 🫶🏻
