A lovely coastal walk. There's plenty of free parking outside the 19th century tide mill at Ashlett's creek (SO45 1DR). Follow the Solent Way signs from the car park. It's a 2.8 miles walk to Calshot, no roads until you reach Calshot. Enjoy refreshments in then Calshot activity centre. Walk along the beach to Calshot castle. Dogs are allowed on the stoney beach. Retrace your steps back to Ashlett where there's a lovely pub.
