This is a lovely and peaceful walk through a large woodland with a range of different paths and tracks. It is possible to walk from Romsey to Hursley via a track, however, there are lots of different paths and tracks to make your walk into a circular route.
Perfect for a dog walk in all kinds of weather. If you are lucky, you might even see a Deer or two! During spring time, there are lots of bluebells in Bluebell Wood in Ampfield part of the forest.

Fantastic wild walk in the woods or easy going along the lanes. Hector always wants an off lead walk and enjoys either. New friends on the path or the excitement of the extra smells and obstacles in the woods. Thank you for the recommendation!

My pup loves this walk, we started by doing a short 20mins loop. You can stick to the main paths or cut though the woods, which my dog just loves. It's usually pretty quiet, which gives my dog lots of off the lead time. -

Took my adolescent German Wirehaired Pointer here to burn off some energy. She slept for the rest of the day and didn't even pester me/try and eat my lunch whilst WFH. 11/10 will be visiting again. -

The dogs love this walk. Pathed routes make it great in winter. Downside is only parking for 4 cars and forestry work has made some of the track impassable.
