About this walk
This walk uses the Itchen Way and St Swithun's Way paths to form a gentle circular route to and from Martyr Worthy Church, although you could equally start and finish at the pub in Easton.

A lovely circular route through pretty countryside and hamlets. Our Spanish Water Dog loved the flooded fields and muddy ground!! -

All sorts of variants here, with plenty of access to the river which is crystal clear. Only shame is land owners are blocking off access even where it has been publicly accessible for a long time and with access put in by the National Park Authority. -

Location details
Park at the church in Martyr Worthy (grid ref SU 515 327) and take the footpath next to the churchyard heading west. Continue through fields across Easton Lane and under the motorway, keeping the river on your left.
