It's best to keep dogs on their lead when passing the hide but once past it is a lovely wooded dog friendly area! Follow the path that runs alongside the hide until you meet the main road, Cross the road and then you can follow the lovely flat cycle path as far as Newport if you wish to. The river runs all along the side of the path so your dogs can have a swim and cool off as they please. There is a lovely cafe on the path called Pedallers which is dog friendly and provides free dog biscuit treats and water!
Please note: There is NO VEHICLE access for dog walkers only two spaces for Bird Hide users.
