A walk along the old canal in Titichfield, Fareham. Can be very muddy in winter when the canal water levels are up, but fine with boots.
Perfect for water loving dogs, with the canal on one side and fields on the other. It can be as long or short as you want as its a there and back type walk. Lots of dog friendly pubs in the village, the bugle and wheatsheaf being just two of them.

Excellent walk with some good paddling and swimming. Tarmac or gravel surface for much of the way alongside the canal. Coming out of Titchfield along Bridge Street, we missed the parking area initially. It's not signed from the road. However if you turn right down the narrow road marked 'footpath' just before the pinch in the road, the parking area is immediately on the left. Longstay parking (free) also in Titchfield itself at the Community Centre - there's a then shortcut for pedestrians back into the main street. Afterwards, we found a very good coffee shop with a garden at the back (and a jar of dog biscuits)! -

Fab walk. First mile is paved but can get very muddy thereafter. Would be great on a summers day. -

Great path, boots needed when wet. Good pathway with occasional cows and sheep in the fields. Good reward at the end with the seaside, toilets and refreshments (seasonal). Great for dogs who love the water. -

Beautiful walk and lengthy too with a contained path for dogs to run off leash if needs be, lots of splash areas for the dogs to play in. Last 50 or so feet of the path runs along side the road to the beach so would suggest leashing dogs on the last part of the walk as its only separated by shrubbery. Can get quite muddy when wet and is quiet mid morning. Car park is small, Imagine it gets busy come summer months. -
