About this walk

Beautiful place to visit, great for dog walking. Landscape is very picturesque with a nice circular route around the whole park. You don't have to stay on the set path as there are woodlands to wander in. I believe there are sheep and a few alpacas in some of the shrub areas. There is also a nice viewpoint that you can walk up to and see many of the towns in Leicestershire from.

This is a lovely walk with spectacular views. Lovely and dry in spite of the recent and very wet, dreadful weather. Our dog loved all the smells in the woods and rolling in the soft grass on the hill. Great to see how well kept it is. Will definitely be going back. Good parking and toilets available so all in all a great day out with your best friend.

We do this walk almost every day and is one of the best spots in Leicestershire for taking your dog for a walk. There are two separate tracks, one for walkers and their dogs and the other a multi-purpose track for bikes, horses and walkers. There is a picnic area at both car parks. We love this place.

One of our favourite regular walks. Lots of routes round, bit hilly but not too strenuous. Occasional horses riders!
