A five mile loop from Ticknall through the grounds of Calke Abbey and out via the Ticknall Lime Quarry, limeyards, and Lime Kilns.
There is free parking on Main Street, Ticknall, and the route passes two public toilets and two cafes on the Calke Abbey grounds.
If you have National Trust membership, there are multiple free car parks along the route, so you could start this loop from any of them.
The route is well marked and most of it is surfaced, though the trails through the limeyards can get muddy at times.
