Brock Hill is situated just off of Rhinefield Ornamental Drive. Brock Hill car park has less facilities than Blackwater (which is further up the drive) but it is quieter and does offer picnic benches. For our walk we crossed over the road from the entrance to the car park and decided to follow a grassy track, not gravel, that was man-made likely for use during tree felling. After around 5 minutes we picked up the main gravel track. This we stayed on for the remainder of our walk. We turned right at every fork in the road and eventually we arrived at the Blackwater carpark. We crossed through the car park keeping the road on our left. For this final 0.5 miles we decided to lead walk given proximity to the road but also this was part of the Tall Trees Trail so busier than we had seen previously. We arrived back at Brock Hill at the same starting point. This walk was easy going, flat and predominantly on gravel tracks. It was dry but suspect off of the track it could get muddy! A lovely walk with lots of sniffys and beautiful forest landscape.
