With free Parking, this is a great woodland walk. There are plenty of flat areas and also gentle hills. The whole area is suitable for on or off lead, and there is plenty to explore for the dogs. There are man made paths, and beaten paths and trails to follow, but beware, it can get very muddy in the Winter and after heavy rain, so always worth having wellies or walking boots available. You can walk into the woods in many parts of Creech and always find your way back to a path or trail that has been trodden by the many dog walkers that go there. You may see Deer on route early in the morning or late evening. The woods also stretch out to the other side of the road so more areas to explore. There is a play area and picnic benches near the car park.

Spoilt by irresponsible dog owners. Lovely Forestry Commission type area. Many piles of freshly deposited dog faeces that some people have chosen to leave behind. Not impressed. W -

Lovely area and big enough for over a hour dog walk. Free parking which is a big bonus. There is a children outdoor play park near the carpark which is good to exhaust the kids out. The downside to this wood is lot of dog poos left along the paths so we were constantly on guard. -

As most comments were from a year ago we thought we'd try Creech Woods. However, the array of dog mess which is left on either side of the paths in these woods is disgraceful. As we met many walkers on the way round, I was the only one who was carrying a bag of dog poo. There appears to be just one bin, which is in the carpark. Consequently, some walkers seem to regard it acceptable to leave their dog's mess on the path. Also, at the time of writing, there is a lot of forestry commission tree felling so be aware of deep rutted paths. Nice to see a free car park and an otherwise pleasant trail. -

Really nice wood. Lovely walk. Didn’t notice the excessive dog mess mentioned in previous comments except around the car park which is senseless since this is where is only bin is sited. -

Lovely walk in the woods yesterday. I didn’t notice dog poo on the sides as other comments have mentioned. Although there are a lot of stinging nettles so I did wonder if this was why other people have noticed left poo. Half the walk was dry but coming back round was very muddy. We have just had rain so that wouldn’t have helped the bogged areas. -

Peaceful. Good off lead. Muddy but fun for the dog. Just be cautious if your dog reacts to horses because people do ride here. -
