About this walk

Burbage Common has open areas and lovely wooded areas two. There is a cafe in the centre of the area which is an old farm house and another one which is open less frequently at the main car park. There are two main wooded areas with nice paths but the open areas do often get muddy in wet weather. There are various streams around for water.

New facilities open at the Burbage Common Visitors Centre, Acorns Coffee Shop. Open 6 days a week from 9:30 until 5pm. Great fresh coffee, and homemade cakes and snacks. Visit us at Link → or Facebook us!

A real favourite with local dog walkers. Lots of off lead areas. The only criticism is that sometimes it can get a bit too popular.

I love walking at Burbage common, it’s not far from my house and very peaceful.

Loads of wood area, paths and fields. Small cafe with hot and cold drinks and food including cakes. So much space so whilst in a pandemic social distance is not an issue. I have a Bedlington terrier crossed with a cocker spaniel who is in his element in this sort of setting ❤

Can make this as long or short as you like , beautiful woodlands and fields . There are lots of fellow dog walkers here. Love it !
