This is a lovely circular walk although has recently been spoilt by the amount of litter, bags of dog poo hanging in trees and bushes and dog poo amongst the trees. Would avoid this place for now. -

Good scenery, solid paths, lots for dogs and humans to engage with. Lots of off lead opportunities. Lots of drinking spots, (for dogs, not humans, unless you are extremely robust). -

It takes around 1.5 miles with gentle hills and flat parts. During the summer the water recedes and the dog can play on the ‘beach’. She can be off lead all the way round. The car park can get busy at weekends and holidays. -

A little hilly but the path is very user friendly. Places for dogs to swim and be off lead. Noisy when walking alongside the M62 back to the carpark but that's not for long and it's secure.
